Are any additional campus spaces being considered for use as student learning space? If yes, will they have the necessary technology (wifi, power, printing, etc…)?

The first floor of the library is being renovated, including more efficient and comfortable furniture. As a part of the renovation additional student study seats will be created. In addition, the first floor will be adding additional power access and has recently upgraded the building wifi system. The second floor of the Library has also seen an expansion in student study areas with the removal of the media desk and microfilm storage. This reclaimed area on the south side of the second floor will help replace space that has temporarily been committed to the surge. In addition, quiet study space will be shifted from the north to the south. Future plans include analyzing the third floor for additional student study space opportunities. Student study spaces have also been identified in the Student Center and Darwin Hall, as well as other buildings on campus.
