Will there be private space in Schulz for faculty to hold confidential or sensitive conversations with students?
How will overlapping demands on private space be handled? Will there be a process for signing up for private meeting rooms or will advising be handled at individual workstations? Has there been any analysis on the amount of advising that will occur in Sch
With the temporary addition of faculty and staff in Schulz, has there been a calculation on the amount of student study space being reduced? Do we believe this will have an impact on Graduation Initiative 2025 goals?
Is the plan to utilize Schulz as the first option for surge space in future building renovations/remodels? Are there any additional building projects coming up after Stevenson?
Since Instructional Faculty will not be in private offices during the surge what security exists to protect exams and student work left in desks, on desks, or on shelves?
Will furniture from the faculty offices be stored during the renovation? Where will the office supplies, instructional support materials, and academic technology be stored?
During the surge will staff be located in a place where they are available to assist their respective schools?
Has there been any analysis of spaces elsewhere on campus, including the possibility of faculty doubling-up in existing offices in other buildings?
The plan includes some modular units (for CAPS and some classrooms). Where will the modular units go?
What will the surge space in Schulz actually look like?
